About Me

I am an accomplished graphic designer, sculptor and lecturer who combines the beauty of letterforms with abstract wood sculpture. I believe over the years, especially with the advent of the computer, the letter has been taken for granted. This new approach to sculpting has given me a rekindled respect for not just type, but its historical significance. I’m on a mission to transform the way the alphabet is perceived by adding a third and unexplored dimension. This is an opportunity to combine my love of graphic design and abstract wood sculpture. If you love graphic design and sculpture my work will truly excite and inspire the senses; texture, line and composition are composed in a constant delicate balance. As the viewer changes position, carefully designed graphic elements develop into interesting and unexpected form.

My goal is to inspire new ways of approaching visual concepts that directly relate to the instruction of graphic design. I convey my passion for art, design and sculpture directly to my students, this approach opens many undiscovered avenues of possibilities in design, photography and illustration.
